A shameful fact:

One out every 11 Americans does not have health insurance.

Think about the people you know.

Co-workers. Neighbors. Folks from church. Your children’s classmates and their families. The school bus driver. Everyone who works at the coffee shop, the grocery store, the movie theater. Your own family and friends.

Statistically, one out of every 11 people you know does not have health insurance.

Many, many others have only inadequate, bare-bones coverage.

And — as of last week, with the federal government no longer classifying COVID-19 as a health emergency — millions more are losing coverage they had received through Medicaid during the pandemic.

To be blunt, what the hell are we doing?
Sen. Bernie Sanders is reintroducing a Medicare for All bill in the U.S. Senate, joined by Reps. Pramila Jayapal and Debbie Dingell, who are reintroducing Medicare for All in the House of Representatives.

Bernie’s legislation would create a Medicare for All, single-payer, national health insurance program to provide everyone in America with comprehensive health care coverage — no networks, no premiums, no deductibles, no copays, no surprise bills.

Tell every member of Congress:

The United States is virtually the only rich country on Earth whose people are subject to the whims and greed of a private, for-profit, Big Business health care regime. End this national disgrace and stand up for the American people by at long last passing Medicare for All.
