The countdown is on. Today marks exactly 75 days to Earth Day. And this isn’t just any Earth Day—April 22, 2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of the original Earth Day, when 20 million individuals took to the streets to protest the state of our planet and demand a new way forward.

In April of this year, we’re taking Earth Day back to its roots in civil society mobilization. To do that, we need you!

To build the world’s largest mobilization for the planet, we need everyone—every sector, every generation, every region—to show up for our planet on Earth Day 2020.

Earth Day Network is working to support the Strike With Us campaign, coordinated by nine youth-led climate organizations and fellow adult allies, to build the intergenerational climate mobilizations for the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.

The global climate strike movement has recently announced the plans for three days of action, launching on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22 and running through Friday, April 24.
