Dear Friend,
I wanted to update you on what our team found after two Project HOPE warehouses in Ukraine were severely damaged by Russian airstrikes.
The team was able to return to our warehouse in the Kherson region after last week’s Russian missile attack. We are happy to report that only a small percentage of the hygiene kits and infant care supplies stored there were lost or destroyed.
Despite these heartbreaking setbacks, Project HOPE and our teams on the ground— many from Ukraine themselves — are absolutely committed to continuing their work to save lives. Today. I’m asking you to think of the people facing these devastating crises and make a generous gift right now. For a limited time, every $1 you donate equals $2.

From the violence in Ukraine and Haiti to natural disasters in Turkey and Ethiopia, all kinds of emergencies are wreaking havoc on the well-being of children and families. That’s why a caring group of our fellow Project HOPE supporters has united to create the 2023 HOPE and Health Matching Gift Challenge. They are doubling all gifts — including the contribution you make right now — up to a campaign total of $600,000.
Your gifts mean Project HOPE teams could double their impact with efforts like:
✓ Distributing 2X the blankets, sleeping bags and hygiene kits to keep families safe after natural disasters
✓ Delivering 2X the infant incubators, generators and other equipment to hospitals to save lives
✓ Providing 2X the training and support for doctors, nurses and the other professionals who work so hard to care for their communities.
