Dear John,

As you know, this is the last decade in which we still have the chance to take the necessary action to avoid runaway climate chaos.

And this year, the UK has the opportunity to be a climate leader as Glasgow is hosting COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference.

That is why as many of us as possible need to take to the streets with fellow Greens next Friday 14th February and join the Student Climate Strikes.

Where can I strike - [link removed]

We must show this complacent government that the time is now to make climate action our number one priority.

Claire Perry O’Neill, the recently sacked chair of COP 26, has said that Boris Johnson ‘doesn’t get climate change’. Well, time is running out and we need to make sure they get it soon.

As Caroline Lucas wrote in The i this week, we need to hold the government to account for their shocking lack of action to prevent climate chaos, and your support is helping us do that. Thank you.

See you on the streets,

Rosie Rawle and Tom Hazell
Co-chairs, Young Greens

PS. We need the Prime Minister to take serious action on climate chaos. Join the Green Party today and help us hold the government to account.
