This week was horrible for North Carolina. The NC GOP has officially used their new supermajority to override Gov. Cooper’s veto and pass a horrendous abortion ban that bans abortion after 12 weeks.

I’m serious when I say this extremist bill isn’t about “saving lives.” It’s about control. Control over our bodies, our choices, and our fundamental human rights.

John, abortion is healthcare and must be accessible. But this isn’t the end of the fight.

I’ll be reaching out soon to talk about Brighter Future PAC’s next steps to fight back against the extremist GOP, but right now, I’m asking you to join me in supporting the Carolina Abortion Fund, an organization providing access to abortion care and reproductive services.

Now more than ever, it is critical we invest in our local abortion funds to serve the needs of our community and give everyone an equal chance to receive the critical abortion care they deserve.
