John,

Our key to success is big organizing. To defeat a Republican like McCaul, who has $300m in personal wealth, organizing is the only path to victory. McCaul can buy TV ads and hire fancy consultants, but if we have the people—specifically, if we have the capacity to make hundreds of thousands of voter contacts—we will win.

And we are on our way. Over the last year, this campaign has earned the support of EVERY LOCAL ORGANIZATION that is involved in the Texas 10th primary election. And add to that a list of state and national organizations who have committed to winning in Texas 10.

Will you join our growing support and chip in to help us hit our goals?

Our job now is to work with each of these organizations to maximize our collective reach. We have less than four weeks until Election Day on March 3!

But for this one moment, let’s appreciate the broad movement we are building, with support from:

  • Local Democratic Clubs from Austin and Houston, including Northeast Travis County Democrats, Pflugerville Democrats, Wooten Democrats, NXNW Democrats, Central Austin Democrats, Capital Area Progressive Democrats, Liberal Austin Democrats, West Austin Democrats, and Area 5 Democrats;
  • Key Organizations Advocating for Black and Latino Voters, including Jolt Action and Black Austin Democrats;
  • Local and National Environmental Organizations, including Clean Water Action, 350 Action, the Sunrise Movement and Sunrise ATX, and Austin Environmental Democrats;
  • Youth Organizations, including University Democrats and Austin Young Democrats;
  • National Progressive Organizations, including Our Revolution, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, the Working Families Party, Blue Action, Brand New Congress, and Progressive Democrats of America;
  • Major Equality Organizations, including Stonewall Democrats of Austin and the Houston GLBT Caucus;
  • Disability Rights Organizations, including Texas Democrats with Disabilities; and
  • Local and National Labor Organizations, including the AFL-CIO, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, National Union of Healthcare Workers, Communication Workers of America, AFSCME, the Austin Central Labor Council, and the Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation.

Our work is not done, but we are proud of how broad and intersectional this campaign has become.

Onward to victory!
