[link removed] [[link removed]] John,
This is going to be a long email. But it’s important.
Since the January 6th insurrection and storming of the U.S. Capitol, federal judges have repeatedly laid blame on former President Donald Trump for inciting the attack.
Time and again, judges have found that Trump inflamed his supporters with the lie of a “stolen” election, urged them to “fight” to take back their country and sent them to the Capitol to “stop the steal.”
Trump used violent rhetoric to drive his supporters into a frenzy and stop certification of the election for Joe Biden.
Although Trump has not yet faced criminal charges for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, federal judges hearing cases relating to the January 6th insurrection have repeatedly recognized the immense power and influence of Trump’s actions and words over his supporters, as well as Trump’s ultimate responsibility for the attack carried out by his supporters on his behalf and at his behest.
A CREW analysis just found that NINE federal judges in 15 different cases have blamed Trump for January 6th. >> [[link removed]]
Soon, judges may have to consider Trump’s legal culpability for the insurrection, including whether he is constitutionally disqualified to hold public office under the 14th Amendment.
CREW has already committed to pursuing Trump’s disqualification under the 14th Amendment for inciting the January 6th insurrection.
The evidence is overwhelming. We are ready, willing, and able to take action to make sure the Constitution is upheld and Trump is prevented from holding office. We need your help to do it.
John, please make a generous donation today to CREW to support our efforts to remove and prevent insurrectionists from holding office, including Donald Trump → [[link removed]]If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Instead of accepting his defeat in 2020, Donald Trump violated his oath to the Constitution by sending a violent mob of his supporters to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history.
His abuse of power threatened to upend our democracy. Our new analysis shows that judges are assigning blame where it is rightly due.
And while judges continue to call out Trump’s attacks on democratic institutions for what they are, CREW will continue to expose Trump’s lies and fight for accountability.
It is clear that Donald Trump was the “central cause” of an insurrection that led to the deadly attack on the Capitol. Under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, he is disqualified from ever holding public office again.
But John, here’s why it’s not so simple.
The 14th Amendment’s Disqualification Clause must be enforced by federal and state officials.
That means it may fall to each state’s judges, secretaries of state and other officials to determine whether a person is qualified to appear on its ballots or serve in office.
Here at CREW, we’re working to ensure that each state enforces Trump’s constitutional disqualification.
We know the law is on our side. And more and more judges are seeing the connection between Trump and January 6th – which is great news! But we have to keep up the pressure to continue to fight for Trump to be disqualified under the 14th Amendment.
Help CREW get this important work done. Make a donation to CREW today and help us in our continued efforts to stop Trump from ever holding office again → [[link removed]]
