On Tuesday, voters in Colorado Springs elected Yemi Mobolade—a political newcomer, businessman, and Democratic-aligned candidate. Mobolade defeated Wayne Williams, a sitting Colorado Springs city councilman and former GOP Secretary of State.
In 2020, El Paso County, which includes Colorado Springs, voted 53.5% for Trump. This area of the state, and even this city, has not voted for Democrats in a long time.
But all of that changed last night.
Voters showed that, regardless of party, they want authentic leaders with vision who put getting things done above petty partisan warfare and politics.
Ike is offering something new to the people of eastern Colorado: a better, more effective way forward. A positive vision for change. True leadership.
Voters all across Colorado are fed up with the harmful, cruel agenda of the radical right. We can win here—but the only way we will succeed is with the strong backing of supporters like you who invest in candidates they believe in.
Thank you for supporting change in every part of Colorado. Together, we can flip this seat and make life better for everyone here and across the country.
In Gratitude,
