GLSEN works at the federal, state, and local levels to advance intersectional equity for LGBTQ+ youth. The landscape of LGBTQ+ rights and policies differ state to state, and our interactive Navigator outlines which areas of the country are most impacted by discriminatory learning environments [[link removed]] .

*Student Programs*
GLSEN works with students across the country and network to provide resources for student-led events. GLSEN's National Student Council, comprised of high school students who dedicate their time, passion and commitment to safer schools for the betterment of all students. The Freedom Fellows, ages 18 to 25, learn, organize, and mobilize chapters in support of LGBTQ+ youth.
