Jezebel, the title given to us for the false prophetess, stole her way into the church, preaching a message of accommodation and compromise—leading them astray and resulting in a sect of the church partaking in physical and spiritual prostitution.

Jesus’s message to the church in Thyatira is the fourth letter to the seven churches, and the longest. This letter to Thyatira served as a warning to the other churches: do not compromise your faith by giving in to the immorality of the culture surrounding you. He called them to repentance, even Jezebel, and urged them to stand strong in a wicked and perverse generation. This message is vital for the church of today: ‘Fight against sexual immorality even in a culture based on loose morals.’
