Friend – Our work towards police-free schools is at risk, and D.C. Council members need to hear from you. Let the Council know that you support police-free schools. The D.C. Council will soon take its second vote on the FY24 Budget Support Act, which would keep armed police officers in our kids' schools, instead of slowly phasing them out. Decades of data and experiences show that police in schools negatively impact the learning environment.
Take action now to help build safe and nurturing schools where all D.C. kids can learn without fear. Thanks for sticking with us, ACLU of the District of Columbia |
