John – as the granddaughter of Jewish immigrants and the daughter of a World War II veteran, I learned the values of hard work, determination, and persistence growing up.

I've carried these values with me my entire life: while working as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace to help pay for the cost of college, as a computer programmer in a male-dominated field, and, in 2018, flipping a red seat blue to represent Nevada in the U.S. Senate.

I'm fighting in the Senate for working families like mine – but I need your help. The Washington Post reports that I'm one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection – and according to FiveThirtyEight, Nevada could once again decide Senate control.
