Voter Reference Foundation is working on a way to fix this growing problem. We’re doing it by restoring public oversight of our elections.
Here’s what that means:
1. UPDATING VOTER LISTS
The Motor Voter Act established that oversight of voter lists belongs to the public, but states have made it complicated and expensive to access the data. Because of this, issues like what happened in Virginia are popping up nationwide. We are the first organization to collect, sort, and distribute the data to the public free of charge.

2. FIXING ISSUES WITH MAIL-IN BALLOTS
Our data shows that states nationwide are experiencing issues with mail-in ballots. Some get counted too late, some include potentially invalid signatures, and others allow unmonitored dropboxes, destroying voter confidence and leaving gaping holes in the security of our elections.

3. IMPROVING OUR ELECTIONS PROCESS
We won't stop fighting until every election in America is fair, free, and transparent.
