John,
In Congress, it’s my job to meet the needs of my constituents – and I’m committed to being their advocate and representative every day.
When I see a problem – I act.
Recently, I heard from Virginians with disabilities who experienced horrible treatment by airlines. Travelers were dropped from their wheelchairs while boarding a plane or had their wheelchairs damaged or lost by airlines.
These sorts of stories are simply unacceptable, so I stepped up immediately to address the issue, calling on the Department of Transportation to review enforcement of its disability violation policies.
My constituents – and every American – deserve to have dignity preserved. These are perhaps the sorts of initiatives you don’t hear about in the news every day, but their importance cannot be overstated.
In Congress, I’m driven to spearhead common sense reform like this and so much more, but I need you to support my campaign to make sure I can keep it up. Will you please consider a contribution today?

With appreciation for your support,
Abigail
