Patrick Peterson and his Nebraska Freedom Coalition failed to heed our retraction demand on behalf of Senator Megan Hunt. The statutory deadline has passed and now we will file litigation against Mr. Peterson and the Nebraska Freedom Coalition.

The Nebraska Freedom Coalition posted photos of Senator Hunt's child and accused her of the serious crime of grooming. Maliciously accusing Nebraskans of grooming children with no factual basis only seeks to defame, harass and marginalize them. 

The Nebraska Legal Action Fund will use all the legal tools at our disposal to protect Nebraskans and expose extremists, their tactics, their supporters, and misinformation. When a teacher, public official or member of the LGBTQ community is defamed or harassed by extremists we will take action.
