Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For 800,000+ years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm (graphic).

END THE ERA OF FOSSIL FUELS!
Friday, June 9 (June 8 - 11)

Right now, we are in a critical moment of escalation. In September of this year UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is calling for a global climate accountability summit in New York City where the explicit “ticket to entry” will be tangible action to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

Biden promised to be a climate president – yet under his watch, the U.S. continues to be the biggest producer of oil and gas in the world.

In the first few years of his term, he approved more lease sales for new oil and gas drilling on federal lands and waters than Trump.

As of the last check there are 30 events scheduled across the U.S.
 Two are close to Milwaukee!

Fridays from 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Chase & Wells Fargo Banks

Many banks (including Chase and Wells Fargo) are lending their depositor's money to fossil fuel companies to develop new fossil fuel production.

We want more people to be aware of this and hopefully change their bank or talk to the management!

We get honks and thumbs up from drivers and passersby.  Some people stop and have a chat about what the banks are doing, or ask, "What is fossil fuel?"

We're alternating between two Chase Bank locations.
