In order to prevent regression on our progress to address homelessness and the state’s affordable housing needs, NPH has joined Housing California and a coalition of other partners in calling for a final state budget that commits to ongoing, significant funding for programs that are proven to advance affordable housing production, preservation, and tenant stability.

• Finance for Affordable Housing Closings: What Lenders and Investors Need to Underwrite Your Project and Close Without a Hitch, Thursday, June 8, 12PM-2PM PT This training is designed for early and mid-career affordable housing developers, investors, and lenders to learn from experienced professionals on what makes for a smooth financial closing process and how to address challenges that may arise.

Calling all Resident Services staff! Join us on Friday, June 9, 10AM-11:30AM PT for Introduction To Trauma Informed Care, an interactive training to define trauma, recognize its prevalence, and provide practical guidance on how to implement the principles of Trauma Informed Care. There will also be space for participants to share examples and ask questions related to the impact of trauma and trauma-informed responses within their work.

Homelessness is a top concern in the Bay Area, and it can be hard to talk about as we grapple with persistent myths and misperceptions around the topic. Join Shift the Bay on Thursday, June 8, 12:30PM-1:30PM PT for a practice-oriented discussion and workshop, The Story we Need to Tell about Homelessness, as we explore our latest messaging resource, How to Talk about Homelessness.

Are you looking to unlock the potential of new audiences, like Gen Z voters? If yes, then don’t miss Shift the Bay’s newly launched TikTok series for AHM, focused on uplifting housing affordability, protecting tenants, and preventing homelessness in the Bay Area suburbs.

NPH is looking for a detail-oriented and personable individual to join our team as Fund Development & Membership Associate! This individual should be passionate about working collaboratively to improve systems and processes to support member and sponsor engagement and prospecting. The Fund Development & Membership Associate is a full-time employee supervised by the Fund Development & Membership Manager.
