Democrats are working to strengthen and pay for Social Security and Medicare, save Medicaid, which provides 25% of all Americans with care, and defend food stamps and housing support from cuts for 40 million citizens, including our children, elderly, and Veterans. 

Democrats support education, livable wages, and sustainable clean energy development. Democrats understand that infrastructure development is vital to our economic well-being and jobs for our families.

My opponent, Rep. Jack Bergman, is demanding more deregulation for dirty industries and to make Trump’s tax cuts for billionaires permanent, robbing us of vital revenue to provide for citizens' wellbeing. He wants to eliminate the Department of Education, deinvesting in our future.

We need a subject-matter expert to provide guidance and problem-solving. We need a trusted family physician, not more corporate lawyers creating bills pandering to the super-rich.
