There’s a very important group of people being used as pawns by McCarthy and the GOP right now. And it’s not Veterans.

They’re the Gold Star families — people whose sons or daughters, husbands or wives, mothers or fathers made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Many of these families receive Social Security or SNAP benefits. Most of them receive survivor’s benefits.

McCarthy’s plan cuts billions from the VA. It slashes Social Security and SNAP. But if he doesn’t get his way, he’ll force our nation to default on its sovereign debt, and the benefits that these Gold Star families depend on will dry up.

The cruelty of that is almost unimaginable. For McCarthy, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and the rest of the extremists and radicals in their party — it’s exactly what they want.

VoteVets WILL NOT let them get away with it.
