A message from Italy: No US nukes anywhere in Europe! ? CND's next national demonstration at Lakenheath airbase in Suffolk is just three days away, with hundreds of supporters expected to join us from across Britain. We'll also be joined by European peace campaigners who are opposed to the siting of US nuclear bombs in their own countries.?

Ahead of Saturday's protest, Italian peace campaigner Camilla Bianchi sent us?this message?of support. Camilla is President for the Coordination of Local Authorities for Peace and International Cooperation in Brescia and the surrounding province, who works with local groups to monitor and protest at the nearby Ghedi Air Base - which hosts at least 20 B62 nuclear bombs. |

Volunteer needed: Help us transport the CND symbol to London

The CND symbol will be returning to Glastonbury this year but needs a little refurbishment beforehand. We require a volunteer with a van to help us transport it from Bristol to London before early June. Expenses will be covered by CND. If you are in a position to help, please email?[email protected].?
