Last week I joined Writers Guild of America union members on the picket
line in Culver City.
[ [link removed] ]Last week, Katie joined members of the Writers Guild of America to
support their fight for better pay and stronger workplace protections.
Industry transformation is too often used as an excuse to leave workers
behind, and that's exactly what executives are doing. The writers I met
with are on strike for better pay and stronger workplace protections, and
I was proud to join them on the picket line.
Technology can't be an excuse to bust unions, and we need to send a
message to large corporations—they need to come to the table and offer a
fair contract to the workers who power these businesses. Every American
should be compensated fairly for their work.
We need strong unions to stand against corporate greed. I'll always stand
with America's workers and fight back against corporate greed, no matter
the industry. [ [link removed] ]If you're with me, can you chip in or sign our petition
