Dear John,
A higher percentage of youth today identify as transgender than at any time before in history. A study last year by the pro-LGBT Williams Institute estimated that the number of transgender-identifying youth doubled in just three years.
That’s why I’m so excited to tell you that yesterday, Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) and Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced the Protecting Children from Experimentation Act of 2023 and the End Taxpayer Funding of Gender Experimentation Act of 2023 in the U.S. House and Senate. Rep. LaMalfa and Senator Marshall are leading the fight in Congress to ensure that experimental and dangerous gender transition procedures are not performed on children, or at least are not underwritten by taxpayers.
Tell your elected officials to protect children in America and co-sponsor these bills!
It is important now more than ever to protect children from these dangerous, life-altering procedures. Children are increasingly being pushed to question their inherent God-given design and to take drastic measures to alter their bodies.
Children struggling to celebrate their biological sex need care and support, not invasive and often irreversible procedures. Studies show that the vast majority will accept their bodies if they are allowed to grow and develop naturally.
The Protecting Children from Experimentation Act of 2023 prohibits doctors from referring for or performing experimental gender transition procedures on minors. The End Taxpayer Funding of Gender Experimentation Act of 2023 protects children as well as the consciences of taxpayers by prohibiting federal funding of gender transition procedures.
These procedures are not medical care and have widespread and dangerous impacts ranging from interrupting natural development to disfiguration and sterilization. It is unconscionable to offer these “treatments” to minors below the age of consent. Congress must act to protect these children!
These bills are integral to the health and safety of children in our country. Contact your members of Congress today and tell them to co-sponsor these important bills!
Sincerely,
