The United States endured 18 separate climate disasters in 2022 with a total cost of $165 billion, according to the annual report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The annual report highlights the extreme effects of climate change as the frequency of climate-related disasters is increasing. The cost of climate change is not just monetary, the loss of life is also increasing. We need to take action now and hold the fossil fuel industry and their cronies accountable.
