Hi Friend, 

Did you know that, currently, someone convicted of a gross misdemeanor
hate crime can still purchase, own, and possess a firearm? And that people
can open-carry and concealed-carry firearms at polling locations and even
while they are doing election work? We need you to [ [link removed] ]call Governor
Lombardo and tell him that we need common sense gun violence prevention
laws to support public safety in Nevada. 

We've been HARD at work this Legislative Session to pass common-sense gun
violence prevention legislation, and we're FINALLY on the precipice of
them becoming law now that both houses of the Nevada Legislature voted YES
on SB171, AB354, and AB355.

We're just THREE signatures away from prohibiting the purchase of a
firearm for up to 10 years post-conviction of a hate crime, raising the
age to buy an assault rifle, closing the loophole on ghost guns, and
protecting our election sites from intimidation.

Friend, do you remember when Gov. Lombardo said he would sign
common sense gun laws and campaigned on prioritizing public safety? Well,
by signing these THREE common-sense gun violence prevention pieces of
legislation, he can do just that. We’re holding him to that promise but we
need your help TODAY — will you join us?
