Scallops
*Notice to State Scallop License holders: *
Good afternoon,
Please save the date for the next Scallop Advisory Council meeting to discuss potential changes to the management of the scallop fishery in future seasons:
* *Tuesday, May 30th @ 4pm; Jeff's Catering in Brewer, ME *
*2023 Scallop Industry Meetings*
Earlier this year, three scallop industry meetings were held in January, one meeting in each zone, to solicit comment and feedback on how Zone 2 scallop management has been working along the coast and how it may be improved upon. Feedback from these meetings will be summarized and shared with the Scallop Advisory Council. Additionally, any questions that were received during these meetings related to previous data summaries will also be addressed.
~ Melissa
