Wanted to keep you in the loop about this: my team just let me know we fell short of a critical fundraising benchmark last night.  Despite our best efforts and a lot of folks stepping up, we’re still behind right now by about $875.

To put a finer point on this – while the President who failed us in Afghanistan, who let Title 42 expire and who seriously lied to veterans during the debt ceiling negotiations raises MILLIONS from his mega-donors…

We’re struggling to keep up. 

So, I just told my team not to close the books until I make one more simple ask of you.  No gimmicks, no BS.  Just a simple request:
