Infrastructure Week 2023 is here! Voices for Public Transit wants you to help spread the word from May 15-19 about the importance of infrastructure for our public transportation systems and ensuring our lawmakers keep the promises made in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
Infrastructure Week consists of virtual and in-person events that highlight the benefits of infrastructure and the ongoing need for investment into our nation's pipes, ports, public transportation, roads, rails and more! Across the country, local organizers are coming together to show how infrastructure investments can translate into a thriving community and economy. As we move along the road for public transit funding, Voices for Public Transit will continue to play an important role in vocalizing why we need strong infrastructure to support the future of robust public transportation for communities of all sizes. By participating in local and/or virtual Infrastructure Week events and sharing on your social platforms, we can tell lawmakers to keep the promises they made in the IIJA by investing in our nation's infrastructure.
