I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself: I’m Julie Chavez Rodriguez, and today is my first day on the job as campaign manager for President Biden and Vice President Harris’s reelection campaign.

I come from a family of organizers and political activists. Some of my earliest memories are from marches and rallies -- raising my voice and fighting for justice alongside my grandfather, Cesar Chavez, to improve the lives of farm workers.

Fighting for the people has been the throughline of my life -- and it’s why I’m so proud to be working on this campaign.
