Agencies reach agreement over Jackson Lake Dam
Oxbow Bend

CHEYENNE ? The State of Wyoming and the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) have reached an agreement on water management operations for the Upper Snake River Basin that will avoid impacts to fisheries below Jackson Lake Dam. The State of Wyoming will supplement flows in an effort to protect the ecosystem and maintain releases at a minimum of 280 cubic feet per second (cfs). Wyoming is committed to using its water storage allocation, up to a maximum of 33,000-acre feet. *If necessary, Reclamation has committed to covering any shortfalls should they occur*. Wyoming agricultural producers can apply for grassland conservation funds with the U.S. Department of Agriculture
Grassland Conservation Reserve Program

CHEYENNE ? The United States Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications from producers and private landowners for the Grassland Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The funds available to Wyoming producers are made possible through the USDA-Wyoming Big Game Conservation Pilot Program. *The Grassland CRP is a unique habitat leasing program aimed at conserving grasslands and rangelands while allowing producers and landowners to continue grazing and haying practices.
