Friend,
My twin brother Joaquin and I have always been a team.

We were raised together on the West side of San Antonio by our mother Rosie, someone who worked tirelessly to make progress in her community.

She taught us that if you want to make a change, you don't wait-- you work. You make your future happen.

And that's what we did. My brother and I went off to college together, to law school together, and into the professional world together--before deciding to go into public service in the community we grew up in.

I first ran for elected office in 2001 - when I was elected to the San Antonio City Council at 26 years old. Joaquin served as my campaign treasurer and worked tirelessly to help me pull off an upset victory. The next year, I helped get my brother elected to the Texas House of Representatives. My brother went on to be elected to Congress, serving the district our grandmother immigrated to almost 100 years before--and I had the honor of serving in President Obama's cabinet.

I couldn't be prouder of the amazing work that my brother has done in Congress. As Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, he fights everyday against the cruelty of the Trump administration's inhumane immigration policy and has done critical work on the Intelligence Committee helping to oversee the impeachment hearings.

I hope you'll join me in supporting my brother's campaign for re-election to Congress.

When I ended my run for president, I promised to continue fighting to make progress in our country. That is why I have spent the past month campaigning across the country for candidates that share these same values.

I know that my brother will continue to fight to put the people of the 20th district first, and I'm so proud to have his back.

I hope you will too >> [link removed]

Thank you,
