John,

I’m on the ground today educating and engaging voters alongside the incredible team you all have helped me build these last two years, but I wanted to take a moment to urge you to join us in fostering our democracy in whatever way you can.

Democracy doesn't just happen; it requires our active participation and cultivation.

Today’s elections are a vital part of this process. Judges and local elected officials have a HUGE impact on our everyday lives – sometimes more than federal ones. Building a government that truly serves us starts with voting for candidates who represent and reflect our communities.

And in Delaware County’s Special Election, the majority in the State House is again at stake, meaning our freedom to vote and abortion access are also on the line today.

The New Pennsylvania Project was honored to be joined this morning by Speaker of the Pennsylvania House and NPP Board Member, Rep. Joanna McClinton, at our Delaware County GOTV launch.

With all this on the line, and turnout threatening to repeat its historical low for elections like these, we need all the help we can get. Will you chip in $10 right now to help us get out the vote and strengthen our democracy?

PS: Don’t forget to vote and encourage your friends, family, and community to do the same.

In solidarity,

Kadida Kenner
Chief Executive Officer
The New Pennsylvania Project
-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
