Overseas voters might make a difference for the first time in the next UK General Election - and that's why for the first time, the Lib Dem party will be competing actively for their votes against the other mainstream parties. We will discuss what the impact might be, and how this could possibly influence the results of upcoming elections.

George Cunningham is Chair of the Lib Dems Abroad, Chair of the party’s subcommittee on China, a member at the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe (ALDE) and of the Liberal International Fair Trade Committee. He stood as a Lib Dem PPC in the 2015 UK General Election. George lives in Earls Court and is in regular contact with the Kensington & Chelsea Lib Dems.
George is an internationalist, with thirty years' experience working for the EU, having previously served as the Deputy EU Ambassador to Afghanistan as well as in Cyprus, New Zealand and New York (twice).
