I’ll make this quick, y'all: I’m writing to ask you to split a donation between Senator Doug Jones’ reelection campaign in Alabama and my campaign to defeat Senator Cornyn here in Texas.

When Sen. Jones put country over politics, he took a courageous step. Now more than ever, we need people in the Senate who are willing to stand up and fight for what’s right -- so we need to have Sen. Jones’ back this November in a tough election.

Conversely, Sen. Cornyn put his lack of integrity on display once again this week. By voting under the direction of Mitch McConnell to acquit the president without calling for witnesses, he showed us that he’s more interested in political expediency than upholding his oath to our Constitution.

We need lawmakers in D.C. who act with honesty and integrity more than ever.
