Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
As I begin another busy week in Texas, I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:
Impeach Mayorkas
Last week, House Republicans passed the strongest border security bill Congress has ever seen – but the fight to secure the border is just heating up. As I told Sean Hannity, it’s past time to hold this administration accountable for watching our nation burn and for lying to the American people about it.
The American people have had enough. Enough death, enough fentanyl, enough cartels – no more letting chaos rule this country. Secretary Mayorkas has violated his oath to enforce our country’s laws. Congress needs to hold him responsible and impeach him.
Debt ceiling update
This administration has made it crystal clear: it’s not on the side of the American people.
House Republicans passed a bill to rein in inflationary federal spending and responsibly raise the debt limit three weeks ago. But President Biden refuses to support it because he wants to spend more taxpayer dollars on a woke and weaponized federal bureaucracy that is at war with the American people’s freedom and prosperity.
As I told Laura Ingraham on Fox News, don't expect my vote to be guaranteed on any debt ceiling or spending bill unless it addresses the border. Securing the border is a top priority for Texas and for the American people as a whole. Republicans need to keep holding President Biden’s feet to the fire.

National Police Week
We cannot thank the men and women of law enforcement enough for what they do every day. We can enjoy the peace and freedom that result from the rule of law because of those who are willing to put their lives on the line every single day for it.
Passport resources
The State Department is encouraging passport applications and renewals during the off-peak travel season in fall or winter because demand is lower, and processing is faster.
Please remember to check your passport expiration date and keep in mind some countries require your passport to be valid for six months after your visit. You can find information on how to apply or renew your passport here.
