We know you might be short on time, but some of our candidates have primaries as early as TODAY! Help us RUSH support to those candidates and others by contributing $20.23 immediately → [link removed]

Last year, you may have noticed some exciting victories for female candidates nationwide. We saw high-profile wins for Democratic women in Massachusetts, Oregon, and Arizona – but here’s the thing not enough people are talking about: down ballot, many women lost their races before they even got started, John xxxxxx.

The fact of the matter is, male candidates are often arbitrarily declared the “frontrunner” in primaries – which means donors, endorsers, the Democratic Party, and, ultimately, voters find it easier to throw their support behind them. Too often, incredible female candidates fall through the cracks.

Many of our 2022 candidates were the only women and only pro-choice candidates in their primaries – yes, we’re talking about Democratic primaries against anti-choice “Democratic” opponents. But because of this propensity to favor male candidates, many of our candidates’ anti-choice opponents won their primaries.

Now, with this year’s primaries just around the corner, and some happening as early as TODAY, we can’t allow history to repeat itself.

Help us rush support to our pro-choice, progressive women running in competitive primaries over the next few weeks by donating $20.23 or whatever you can now →

Here’s a prime example from 2022: North Carolina State Senator Erica Smith.

Erica was a candidate for North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District. She was the only woman and the only pro-choice Democrat in her primary. In fact, her main opponent, Don Davis, had a record of voting to defund Planned Parenthood (among other troubling votes) when he was a state senator.

Despite this, Don Davis received institutional support from the Democratic Party, donors, and endorsers. He won the primary and then went on to win the general election. As a result, at a time when abortion rights are hanging on by a thread in our country, Democrats have one less pro-choice legislator on their side of the aisle in Washington.

This is what happens when female candidates are not given the support they need in their primaries. But, you can help us make real change.

We cannot afford to have any more anti-choice “Democrats” in office – primaries are CRITICAL – and they are not getting nearly enough attention or credit for the impact they will have on our nation’s future. Help us rush support to our progressive and pro-choice candidates running in competitive primaries by pitching in $20.23 immediately. Some of these primaries are happening as early as TODAY. There is no time to waste. → [link removed]
