Jack, sign and send the petition: Support striking Writers Guild members!

On May 2, the Writers Guild of America went on strike. As online streaming services and companies have risen, and continue to rise, writers’ pay has fallen and writers are being forced to produce content faster. As a result, they have not been accurately compensated since the takeover of streaming networks in the last 10 years.
The decision to strike comes after weeks of negotiation for increased wages and better labor practices with no agreement. This negotiation has revealed the lack of respect that studios hold for the creatives who make Hollywood possible. It has also revealed the age-old tale of more money in the pockets of billionaires comes at the expense of just labor for workers.
Hundreds of productions have shut down. It’s up to us to remind the studios that without writers, they don’t have the shows that make them rich.
We can show solidarity with the striking writers right now. Join us and send a petition to the CEOs of Netflix, Amazon, Disney and HBO Max and support the writers’ demands!
