Brian Kemp just said he might run for president in 2024.
Which means it’s time for a refresher on just how bad Kemp has been for Georgia.
Brian Kemp is the architect of modern voter suppression in Georgia. When he was the GA Secretary of State, he used his role to shut down polling places in majority Black districts, cancel more than a million voter registrations, and purge hundreds of thousands of eligible voters from the voter rolls RIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION.
Kemp is also an anti-abortion extremist, bragging about signing “the most extreme anti-abortion bill in the country.”
And he signed a reckless gun law that could make it easier for criminals to carry a concealed weapon in public without a permit, paving the way for more gun violence in Georgia.
And now he wants to be president!
