Team,

Yesterday, Senator Doug Jones made the courageous decision to vote to remove Donald Trump from office for his abuse of power.

Doug holds a very competitive Senate seat in Alabama, one of the reddest states in the country. He is Alabama's first Democratic senator in nearly two decades and he's up for re-election this fall.

It would've been politically expedient for him to vote against convicting the President, who is very popular in Alabama. But Doug did the right thing despite what it might mean for his re-election chances.

Now it's on us to help Doug defend his Senate seat against Jeff Sessions and Roy Moore, both of whom are running against him. Split a donation between both of our campaigns right now.

I've seen firsthand through our work together in the Senate that Doug is a dedicated public servant who represents his state honorably. I actually had the privilege of campaigning with him in Alabama back in 2017 when he ran for his seat and saw for myself how dedicated he is to his constituents.

In these uncertain times, Doug upheld his oath to protect and defend the Constitution -- showing us what true leadership really looks like.

Unfortunately, that isn't going to stop Jeff Sessions, Roy Moore, and the other Republicans currently in this race. They're already attacking Doug for his gutsy vote yesterday. This will be a very difficult election -- and Doug needs our help.

There's no doubt that Donald Trump and his allies are going to do everything they can to try and win back this Senate seat. Chip in now to help Doug have the resources to fight back.

I hope to have the honor of serving with Doug in the Senate for another term.
