I’m going to get right to the point -- I’m asking you to chip in to When We All Vote in this email. I want to be upfront because I know your inbox is full of emails just like this one, but I believe a part of our mission is critical to restoring faith in our democracy in 2020, and to do that, we need your support.

Since our last presidential election, much has happened to erode public trust in voting. From citizens being unlawfully purged from the voter rolls to voter ID laws meant to disenfranchise people of color, we’re at a disadvantage when it comes to convincing our friends, family, and neighbors that their vote matters.

Our work to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap isn’t easy or a quick fix. But with each and every person we help register to vote or a volunteer we train to help others get registered, we’re one step closer to fixing our democracy.

So here’s the ask I mentioned earlier -- if you’re feeling the same way I am and want to be part of this fight to save our democracy, chip in now:

Voting isn’t a spectator sport and now isn’t the time to sit on the sidelines.
