But for today, we are sinking into the truth that we could not do this work alone. Our tremendous victories this year in Olympia are essential stepping stones to making Washington-and the nation as a whole-safer from the scourge of gun violence and we are not done yet. This weekend alone, the nation was riddled with multiple shootings with almost twenty injured. We promise to continue this necessary work until all of our safety is guaranteed.
