John,
In the wake of the recent tragedies in Nashville, Allen, Cleveland, TX and so many other communities, Americans have made it clear that they want the Senate to take meaningful steps to curb gun violence and make their communities safer.
Now more than ever, Chris remains dedicated to fighting for an America where families can feel safe from gun violence in their communities. He has shown time and again that he’s not afraid to stand up to the NRA by championing legislation such as:
✅ The Keep Americans Safe Act, a bill that will end the sale of magazines with more than ten rounds of ammunition.
✅ The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, commonly recognized as the most meaningful piece of gun safety legislation Congress has passed in years. This landmark bill makes critical progress on important issues such as crisis intervention orders, background checks, and mental health investments.
✅ Ethan's Law, a bill that will require safe and secure storage of firearms in the home to reduce accidental deaths from improper storage.
There's still so much left to do if we want to end the American gun violence epidemic. Inaction is not an option; that's why Chris will continue to fight for stronger gun reform measures, including getting weapons of war off our streets, universal background checks, and red flag laws.
If you agree with Chris that it's time to pass more common-sense gun safety reforms, add your name today >>
Thank you,
Team Coons
