I’m sending you a quick note on your Monday to give you the latest updates about our campaign for Governor of North Carolina.

• Governor Cooper vetoed the Republican legislature’s restrictive anti-abortion bill. It’s time to fight back and demand that the Republican legislators, including several who promised they wouldn’t restrict choice, do not take away women’s reproductive freedoms.
• If the Republican supermajority overturns the Governor’s veto, it will be an incredibly damaging step backward. And if anti-abortion extremist Mark Robinson wins the governorship in 2024, the Republicans in Raleigh will completely ban abortion. We CANNOT allow that to happen.
• But my finance team just told me we are falling behind on our critical mid-month goal — with only hours to go until our midnight deadline.
