Elise Stefanik has already pledged to use her massive fundraising haul from this year to defeat Pat and hold onto the slim Republican House majority. After standing by Carl Paladino, a far-right Republican candidate for Congress who is a nazi-sympathizer, there’s no limit to how extreme a candidate Elise will support.

And Marjorie Taylor Greene, who used to exist on the fringes of the Republican Party, is now pumping in her fundraising dollars to support the National Republican Congressional Committee. She has the ear of top GOP leadership and will certainly be campaigning against Pat and New York Democrats this election cycle.

Pat knows his district, and he knows that the radical views of MTG or Stefanik do not represent the people of the Hudson Valley. But that’s not going to stop Republican operatives from spending big to spread lies about Pat’s record and prop up whichever opponent challenges him.
