Friend,

California has been making major strides in protecting abortion access!

Not only is the state trying to ensure that abortion remains safe and
legal, it’s working to provide a safe haven for those living in
anti-abortion states. On the anniversary of the leak of the Supreme Court
decision overturning Roe v. Wade, state Attorney General Rob Bonta
announced a new hotline people can call to find pro bono services and
other legal help to access reproductive care.

But with the legality of the abortion pill in question, an anti-abortion
Congress in session, and more anti-abortion laws passing nationwide every
day, what does the future of reproductive care look like for California?

Courage California hopes to help answer that question.

On Monday, May 15, Courage California will host a California Abortion Town
Hall with Black Women for Wellness, ACCESS REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE, and NARAL
Pro-Choice CA to talk about current barriers to abortion access, progress
California is making on abortion policies, and how to protect and expand
abortion access in California and beyond. ASL interpretation will be
provided.

And you’re invited!
