Back in 2017, the people of Alabama elected Doug Jones because they trusted him to fight for what’s right. And yesterday, he proved everyone right.
My good friend and colleague Doug put country above politics and voted alongside me to convict President Trump on both counts of impeachment.
Let me be clear: Doug's opponents are going to attack him for his vote. He’s in a tight race and the right-wing special interests have already spent half a million dollars attacking him.
Now, you can bet the GOP will exploit Doug’s difficult decision to make sure he loses this race. But this incredible team can help stop them — after all, we did it back in 2018 with our own race.

After yesterday, one thing remains clear: the only way we can bring back accountability to our government is if Democrats take back the majority this year. Our country deserves better than the partisan circus Republicans are putting on in Washington.
