During the 117th Congress, Nancy Pelosi’s House massacred your Second
Amendment rights by repeatedly passing unconstitutional gun control legislation.


Gun Owners of America is committed to repealing these laws, and on Friday, we
filed suit in federal court in the northern district of Texas. Our suit seeks
to repeal the waiting period restrictions that passed as part of the
Cornyn-Murphy infringements that became law last year.


Thankfully, our new pro-gun House majority has the opportunity to repeal even
more gun control and rectify the colossal messthat was left by the Pelosi
Congress.


I am happy to report that Rep. Lauren Boebert just introduced the Shall Not Be
Infringed Act ( #H.R. 3212), which is a comprehensive repeal of EVERY Second
Amendment infringement passed by the 117th Congress and signed by President
Biden.


That includes ALL gun control contained in the Cornyn-Murphy Sellout, as well
as the gun control that anti-gun Democrats stuffed into several funding bills
last year.


Among many other things, this bill would:


* End the $700 MILLION+ programs to bribe states into passing Red Flag gun
confiscation laws.
* Repeal the changes to federal law that became a backdoor way for the Biden
Administration to impose Universal Background Registration Checks just as GOA
predicted.
* Overturn federally mandated waiting periods on certain adults before they
can purchase rifles, which is the very provision that GOA is now challenging in
court as of yesterday.
* Reverse the massive 14.1% ATF budget increase to facilitate Biden’s pistol
ban and defund the $14.4 million budget for the ATF’s National Tracing Center,
where they maintain their illegal national gun registry that comprises nearly a
billion records.

But to get this critical legislation moving, GOA needs grassroots pro-gun
activists like YOU to contact your Representative and urge them to co-sponsor
it.

I’ll be honest with you, John.


It’s going to be tough – but not impossible – to get this bill through the
House with a razor-thin Republican majority of just 4 seats.


Last year, 14 Republicans in the House voted for the Cornyn-Murphy Sellout,
and 6 of them are still in Congress.


But there’s a reason it’s only 6 of them…


Republican politicians who betrayed their constituents by voting for this
unconstitutional gun control paid the price at the ballot box last cycle.


Most of those 14 knew they stood no chance of winning, so they didn’t even
bother running!


Last year, Republican Chris Jacobs didn’t seek reelection after voting for
the Cornyn-Murphy Sellout and other gun control measures.


Reports indicate that backlash from pro-gun constituents was the primary
reason why.


You have the power to force these squishy Republicans to fall in line, John.

single-issue voters when it comes to their Second Amendment rights.


It shouldn’t come as a surprise that many of these voters have completely
lost faith in congressional Republicans after being stabbed in the back for the
last two years.

those mistakes and win back the support of gun owners by signing on to Lauren
Boebert’s bill.
