We see a dangerous trend — states with GOP leadership are attacking gender-affirming healthcare and banning procedures that are proven to create positive health outcomes for transgender youth. We have to protect the rights of transgender people at the state level.
Studies show that transgender youth receiving supportive care have more stable mental health, lower suicide rates, and are provided a safe place for social affirmation. We must ensure that all young people, regardless of gender identity, have access to the healthcare they need to live happy and healthy lives.
