As we know, America recognizes specific populations or demographics each month. ODHH wants to recognize Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened communities within specific demographic communities during the awareness month.
We want to hear from YOU about individuals who you feel deserves recognition during specific awareness months. For example, Black History Month, Women's History Month, AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Arab American Awareness Month, Hispanic Awareness Month, LGBTQ Awareness Month, Native American and Alaska Native Awareness Month, plus many more!
Please submit names of individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, Hard of Hearing or Late Deafened who stand out in the community and deserves to be recognized to me, Elizabeth Luttrell, at [email protected]. I hope to hear from you about those who shine brightly in their communities.
