With Republicans at the helm, culture wars are prioritized over people. Using national Congressional efforts to ban books and obsess over what bathroom people should go to is an insult to our democracy. When folks talk about elections having consequences, this is what that looks like.
We have no option other than taking back control of the house. Progress will not happen under current leadership, and the 2024 election is how we change that.
When we had control, we were able to pass legislation that helped people. The American Rescue Plan Act provided over $160 billion in funds to help with childcare, HBCUs, and closing the achievement gap.
President Biden has said we are in a battle for the soul of the Nation. Let’s make sure we win that battle before it’s too late. [[link removed]]
