Here at VoteVets, we’re coming up on our mid-month fundraising deadline tonight. But this one is a little different.

If you have a minute, we hope you’ll let us explain why.

VoteVets runs in large part thanks to tons of support from people like you. Your support has helped us build a specialized voter database, and we use that to send out organizers and target ads in some of the toughest races in the country.

So for everything you do, from all of us here: Thank you.

But in just two weeks, we’re going to observe Memorial Day. VoteVets goes dark on social media, on our advertising, and our fundraising to honor the fallen. It’s a solemn day for us, and it’s important to do.

What that means is, we can’t count on our end-of-month deadline push to close the gap if we start to fall behind on our goals.

And we have to hit our goals, or we can’t fund the critical programs we run. It’s as simple as that.

That makes this mid-month deadline extremely important. So please:
